Well, there are so many countries that I would like to visit, and picking just one is a decision that results so difficult for me, but if I choose just one, it would be Spain, specifically the city of Barcelona. Spain is a country that I always wanted to go to, for its history, culture, the museums, and its particular architecture which results so interesting for me and another thing that will make Spain, and specifically Barcelona, my favorite city that I would like to visit.
Spain has been a country that has formed part of our history, and we can see it in our language, our culture and the influences since the period of the history known as the colonialism. I study Social Anthropology and the culture, the society and the history has been always themes that make me interested to study and to know more.
Since that I was a child, always the language Catalan was the one that my parents used to talk to me and they influenced to me, so I could listen to and to learn more about this language and this culture. My father has a favorite singer named Joan Manuel serrat, who is a popular singer in Spain and South America. He is a good singer and musician and his songs talk about culture content, which every time that I listen to his songs I learn a little more about this country.
I would like to study there, specifically at the university of Barcelona, which is one of the most famous university in this country and is an important study house of my field of study “the social science” and I would like to study one of the Program of Magister that the university is offering in my specialty of the Medical Anthropologist.
